  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour Foundation of the bread.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  • Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  • Add baking soda and salt; mix well.
  • Incorporate the granulated sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until just combined.
  • Gradually fold in the all-purpose flour until just incorporated.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and level it out.
  • Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

Notes
