Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  • Add vegetable oil, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined.

Mixing

  • Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the banana mixture and mix well.
  • Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined.
  • Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly into the batter.

Baking

  • Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For better flavor, use ripe bananas with brown spots. You can customize with nuts or spices as desired.
