Preparation

  • Gather and prepare your ingredients. Chop bacon into small pieces.
  • Measure out ground beef and seasonings.

Cooking Meat

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Remove the bacon and drain excess fat, leaving a small amount in the pan.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart and seasoning with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Brown for about 5 to 7 minutes.

Combine Mixture

  • Combine the cooked beef with the crispy bacon in a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish, spreading it into an even layer.

Egg Mixture and Baking

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, and most of the shredded cheese. Reserve some cheese for topping.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the meat and bacon layer, ensuring even coverage.
