  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks for about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until translucent. Then, add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for 5 to 7 minutes until tender and juices are released.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine. Gradually pour in beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, let it simmer until the sauce thickens, then lower heat and mix in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot over cooked egg noodles or rice.

Notes
